Toge is one of the elders in Tamagashi Village, he appears in the Ring of Fire .
He distrusts Jack and is critical of his abilites as a Samurai because he is not Japanese and is just a boy in his eyes. Toge is later proved wrong with regard to his opinion about Jack, gradually recongnizing his worth as a warrior throughout the course of time.
